Was asked about this and it did make about a 20 fps increase on my old machine.
Some people have had 30-40+ FPS improvements on what they were getting before, some players also have reported that the FPS doesnt go up much but things run smoother then before. So over all its had a good out come... this is OK'd by the A/C's so far so you are good to make the changes listed below.

Xfire users take note
Apparently Xfire and its support of AA does not include DX9.
This is a Xfire issue and not AA, using the DX8 to DX9 tweek will remove your X-Fire in game communication pop ups and noise
You can still use the tweak just you wont be able to use XFire.
